Do I need to replace my existing logger?

No. CerbiStream plugs into your existing logging framework  -  Microsoft.Extensions.Logging, Serilog, or NLog  -  as a provider. Your log sinks and destinations are unchanged.

No. CerbiStream runs entirely inside your application process and makes no network calls on the hot path. CerbiShield receives governance metadata asynchronously and never sees raw log payloads.

Governance profiles define which fields are forbidden or require masking. CerbiShield versions and deploys those profiles per environment and maintains an immutable audit trail. Cerbi is designed to support logging-related controls in HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Yes. All CerbiShield services, databases, and governance data run inside your Azure subscription. No log data or governance telemetry is sent to shared Cerbi infrastructure.
